This Site is IPv6 Only
This site is now IPv6 only. I have been thinking about this for a long time, and I decided to just do it. A records have been removed, and only AAAA exists for reaching this site. See Below:
user@machine$ host fritz.dev
fritz.dev has IPv6 address 2620:79:e000:fb01::206
fritz.dev has IPv6 address 2620:79:e000:fa00::206
fritz.dev mail is handled by 10 mail01.fritzlab.net.
fritz.dev mail is handled by 20 mail02.fritzlab.net.
But. I’m not a complete psychopath. Legacy IPv4 compatibility is available at ipv4.fritz.dev (it’s actually dual-stacked).
user@machine$ dig +short ipv4.fritz.dev
gateway.fritzlab.net.

Why IPv6 Only?
I’m an idealist; and I care for the future of the internet. We have moved away from the initial promise of IP, where all IPs are routable and reachable (allowing any networked host may host content). The world we currently live in is full of NATs, “port forwarding,” tunnels, and overlays. As an industry, we keep on making it easier and easier to extend the use of IPv4. Thus, IPv6 continues to be thought of after IPv4. Imagine what the internet could be like if the thinking was flipped - IPv6 before IPv4.
More content publishers should be IPv6 only. That’s the only way to flip the equation. We need to get back to the original intent of what IP was. End to end unfettered reachability.
